Popodeus provides you with a whole bunch of scripts for Firefox and in some cases Opera and Chrome, to enhance the playability of Popmundo. Please don't miss out on an opprtunity to make the game easier and better. All this, safely.

These scripts are not harmful and do not violate any rules for good behaviour. The creator of this website has been a Popmundo player since April 2006 and has used and developed scripts during all this time.
Nobody has been banned or or killed* in game by running these scripts offered on Popodeus.com.
So ask yourself, do you think these scripts are bad? :)

What you need to run scripts

To use user scripts inside your web browser, you will need to using either Firefox, Chrome or Opera. Other browsers may work, but are still untested or just unsupported. If you have any new information about script technologies or browsers, please Contact Us!

Greasemonkey Firefox users will need Greasemonkey
  1. Go to Greasemonkey download page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748
  2. Install the add-on. It asks you to restart Firefox. Don't worry, it restores all your tabs and you will be able to continue finding scripts.
  3. Installing a script does not require a browser restart!

Get your first script

As a first script to test, we recommend our Youth Hostels script. It is a very simple one, adding a link to the local city youth hostel to the city page. Should work both in Firefox and Opera.

This is one of the most popular and useful Popodeus scripts for the traveler who doesn't want to spend money on hotels.

Popmundo Login Server Select

Second utility script was more popular when Day of the Dead caused massive server slowdown. Nowadays there usually is very little need to pick a server manually, but some people say there's a difference, so we're giving you an option to decide for yourself. Should work both in Firefox and Opera.

Popmundo Forum Navlinks

A Popmundo forum script that shows navigation links on top of the page inside forums. Also brings up the thread priority buttons for easy access. We also hide the button that cannot be clicked on (in this example, the green one is not visible since thread priority already is green.) Should work both in Firefox and Opera.

What is Greasemonkey?

Since I'm too lazy to write a description, I'll quote sources on the web:
Greasemonkey is a Firefox extension that allows you to write scripts that alter the web pages you visit. You can use it to make a web site more readable or more usable. You can fix rendering bugs that the site owner can't be bothered to fix themselves.

Is it true nobody has died because of your scripts?

There are no known cases where anyone has been killed from using Popodeus.com scripts. The creator of this site has used most or all of them regularly as long as he has been playing the game. Only deaths that have occurred have been intentional, not because a developer has banned a script.
